STEP 5. Develop and State Ranch Goals

You have goals that influence ranch decision making. Some of those goals have to do with production and making a profit while others have to do with how you want to manage your land or what kind of lifestyle you wish to maintain. These goals may sometimes conflict. You carry your goals around in your head and you know that you sometimes have conflicting goals. All you are doing in this section is writing down what you carry around in your head. Because this plan focuses on water quality you may wish to make a special effort to state your land management and water quality protection goals.
