Briefly
STAP is a database with accompanying graphical user interface developed in Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications. STAP is intended to be a quick and easy way to centralize, categorize, and retrieve great amounts of stream temperature data. STAP has some modest analysis feautures, but it is designed more to organize, summarize, and navigate data, and generate good input to a more robust commercial statistics package.
STAP was developed for Ken Tate, Department of Agronomy and Range Science, UC Davis. It is now provided freely, on an as-is basis. Users are free to make modifications and distribute freely, as long as STAP is not sold for profit.
